World Critical Resources Summit

William Loiry was Chairman of the Presidential Inauguration VIP Ball and Conference, held in Washington, DC on January 20 and 21, 2009. More than 500 VIP guests were registered.

Following the devastation of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005, Equity International President William Loiry organized four major conferences on the reconstruction and economic development of the U.S. Gulf Coast. Since 1998, Loiry has organized numerous conferences, briefings, and roundtables on homeland and global security. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge keynoted The 2004 Homeland and Global Security Summit and stated, "Bill Loiry has provided this important opportunity to continue the critical dialogue on homeland security - thank you, Bill, for your vision and perseverance to bring us all together."

Following The 2006 Homeland and Global Security Summit, U.S. Army Major General Bruce Davis, Commander of the Joint Task Force Civil Support, wrote William Loiry, "Thank you for your gracious invitation to speak at the Homeland & Global Security Summit. It was a great opportunity for professionals from the various organizations to come together and discuss potential issues pertaining to, preparing for, and reacting to a CBRN incident. Your management team were true professionals."

Since 1996, William Loiry has organized numerous conferences facilitating post-disaster reconstruction worldwide. In 2000, President Vojislav Kostunica of Yugoslavia stated, "Thank you very much for the organization of the Yugoslavia Reconstruction Conference in Washington and for the good will of Equity International to bring together American business people willing to aid the democratic processes in the country and boost its economic development."

I attended one of William Loiry's "summits" in Washington, DC and not only was it unprofessional, but the whole operation seemed suspect. Just visit his website...it isn't even operating! While this IS a very important topic, I think those interested in attending, should think twice as there are several conferences out there that would likely blow this one out of the water. This is just a friendly piece of advice for you NYC folks who probably have better things to do with your time.

This is a great event to have. The Critical Resources Summit is such a need event at this time when the World's Resources are Run low and will soon run out. We need to come up with renewable energy methods and put them into place before the world's resources run out. By the year 2012 we will be using 2x more energy. I know William Loiry and he is very commited to really making a change in how we handle the world's resources. We must work together not as a Coutry but as a World.
