Jeff (Thimple, Brother Joshua, and the late Grunka) and Mike (Cyr, Targ, and the late Tyrvand Dedsoon) answer some questions and give me some feedback on my GMing style in my Darves Hill Labyrinth Lord megadungeon campaign.

The Character Grunk(a) died after the recording of this interview. He/She died by being touched by the cold dead hand of the Lich Lekorh. It's kind of funny that the character was thinking of retiring, and then he/she died. Rest in peace Grunk(a).

  • Fun stuff! Sounds like you're keeping your players happy, which is all a GM can really ask for!

  • @ThrashLibrarian Darves Hill must be like those megadungeons of old, because it seems to have some basic animal-like intelligence. It hates adventurers, but it specifically hate magic-users. :)

  • @ThrashLibrarian Excellent. Congratulations on being back. I took a few necessary years off, necessary because I had a job that was basically 24-7. On the D&D line, I love all of it up to D&4E. I admire all of those previous EDs. Wonderful stuff. I always think as long as you're enjoying it's all good. And from the play-throughs I've heard (not all yet) you lot are having a great time. And you've a wonderful GM to boot. Cheers, man. Glad you're playing again !

  • @blackbarnz Awesome. I (almost) always enjoy interacting with other gamers. There have been a few that have been...ahem...challenging....but mostly it's been a great experience

  • @23penguins32 I enjoyed doing the interview. Even though my heart is with the "old school", I still enjoy 3.5/Pathfinder.I started with the Moldvay box set back in the mid-80s, played a few other games around then, but dropped out for most of the 90s and 00s. Just hit my 5-year anniversary for being back in the hobby.

  • @RollForDamage B/X Wizard with a Con penalty. Not a good combination. He came from a long line of Dedsoon's, who only managed to live long enough to spawn a child or two. We've since found the corpses of plenty of his ancestors strewn throughout the dungeon.

  • @Samwise7RPG Rock on, you-you character bane you ;)

  • @23penguins32 I'm glad you enjoyed these Brady. :)
