Ringo's 2nd solo album after the break-up of the Beatles. This all-country album features the Jordanaires on backup vocals as well as several other prominent Nashville musicians including Jerry Reed and Charlie Daniels.

  • Now that's a rare album! I'd love to pick this up in a garage sale one day! It's so weird to hear Ringo and The Jordanaires together! The only thing that bugs me is that the French word "beaucoup" has no "s" at the end.

  • I agree it is weird to hear the Jordanaires backing up Ringo! For "beaucopus" maybe we can call it poetic license? With the French/English combination, "Beaucoup of Blues" would sound really weird!

  • YES Ringo sure does rock! This song is a little sad "Beaucoups of Blues" but Ringo sings this song so beautifully!

  • I've always enjoyed watching the Apple label go 'round & 'round!! I hadn't heard this before......I like it, good stuff......

  • I've been looking around for a copy of this album and completely stumbled on this video. After watching it, I realized it was you who uploaded it! Small world! Do you still have the album? Willing to part with it? Love to keep it in the VC! - Lj

  • This is a great album if you don't have it. No weak tracks at all. Jerry Reed, Pete Drake, Charlie Daniels, and The Jordanaires were all on it. I remember when it came out, I must be old haha............spring of 1970 !!

  • Ringo made a raw, real country-rock album that fits alongside anything Gram Parsons and Mike Nesmith were doing at that time.!!

  • Beaucoups of blues! Great song! Btw there's a saying "Beaucoup bucks" Which means alot of money. Maybe it means a lot of blues....

  • One of my favorites from Ringo! <3

  • never heard of this song! sounds really cool! thanks for posting, spellerine!
