How does people lying to get MMJ cards affect the ability of people with real illnesses in getting cards? I don't follow your logic. The real problem is the hypocrisy of the federal government and the DEA's need to use pot crackdowns as a way to distract the public from seeing their epic failures.

MMJ provides revenues that many cities (OAKLAND!) cannot do without, not to mention the help it provides people. And if MMJ has not been a problem since the 1990's, why is it suddenly a problem now?

Medical cannabis tinctures I obtained through Harborside SAVED MY LIFE and broke the grip of the narcotics so-called doctors pumped me with following a botched spinal surgery. Sure, there are some people abusing the medical cannabis laws in Cali, but for God's sake don't throw out the baby with the bathwater and deny me and others the medicine we need to survive! I was there in Oakland. Without Harborside I would be in a grave. Obama LIED about a hands-off approach to medical cannabis!

the problem is the people taking advantage of the medical marijuana laws which make it harder for people with real illnesses and diseases. if you are not sick than stop making it impossible for people with cancer to get the treatment they need. people are looking past the fact that the dea is doing all this because they feel that people are taking advantage of these laws, and i do not support them, but it is a true fact i personally know many people who do not have ilneses and lied to get it

@81Kush and @MRtoker2007 They hold onto it before paying you for it because it takes quite awhile for them to inspect it for mold and insects and why by something before knowing what condition it's in? and lastly MRtoker they are a nonprofit organization.

If they can't make money they can't exist just like doctors and hospitals. Duh! My doctor lives on a hill in a mansion and drives a Mercedes, is he a criminal? No, he is a businessman who happens to be in the healthcare field just as is Harborside.

The question is, does Harborside provide a level of service that exceeds expectations and is in accordance with state regulations. The answer is a resounding YES! We need to save Harborside.
