Every year my family has a Chrismukkah get-together with my oldest friend and her family. I make tourtiere, she makes latkes -- it`s a fabulous combination! -- you should try it some time! Then we light the menorah and decorate the Christmas tree. Because we are made of awesome, if I do say so myself.

@splicegrrl suck on a lemon wedge if the burn gets too bad. It usually helps.

How do yu "dry them well" after straining your grated potatoes?

I want that apron.
I really do.

Mmmm Jordan more proof that you cook like delicious.
My mum hasn't made any sweet potatoe latkes yet this year, but it is an old tradition.

This is probably the most delicious thing I've ever seen you make here. Because potatoes are involved. And I'm so Irish and I heart taters. *swoon*

Wow, that doesn't look as difficult as I thought. I will be making this for sure!!
Do your eyes water when you cut onions, because it's kinda like torture for me, but I endure it, because I love onions.

Latkes are absolutely delicious. I'm not Jewish, but I LOVE THEM! :)
So, what's with the New York accent bits? At least, I think that it was supposed to be New York. Maybe the attempt was actually for Boston.

@WatcherThePunk I have no idea. For some reason I periodically get accents. It's an oddity even I don't fully understand.

I dice the potatoes in the food processor. Works just as well and leaves my wrists and fingers pain free. ;)
Great video!
