Pretty good deal if you consider that in the box you get: The Victorian kitchen garden, the Victorian flower garden and the Victorian kitchen.
T.Y for posting this vids I would never had kown about this series otherways.

Oh she is a bit nasty freezing an old mans socks and then scalding someone in sticky hot celery soup. Charming. :)

at 19:20 she is within a nano second of the help putting the steaming pot of rubbarb on her fingers!

You (UK) have some of the best shows. I'm enjoying Coal House and The Wartime Kitchen. Wish they would bring those here. I loved Larkrise to Candleford and wish they hadn't cancelled the show. We get dumb meaningless and often vulgar garbage. Thanks for posting these.

That is a real cook right there. Shes using very old school equipment, old school methods, and look at how orderly and net her kitchen always stays. Shes awesome.

What a wonderful program. I wish i had these on a DVD. When was this made? The cook seems to be such a nice lady with the most sweet relaxing voice i've ever heard! She would be a dream to work under. Ladies like this are becoming very rare now-a-days. It's so interesting to see how much real work went into cooking over 100 + years ago. But the funny thing is the more things change, the more they stay the same. Many of us still make stocks, soups and other dishes that are labor intensive.
Thank you! I'm so happy that you're posting more - such a marvelous, marvelous series. This is a particularly fine episode, too.
