Ignorant racist white guy goes up to Mexican and ask him you speak American? LOL The Mexican says NO, No Senor no hablo Ingles. White guy says but we are in America! Again the crazy thing about this is that Spanish been spoken longer in the Americas then any other European Language. Also the whites who hate Spanish hate a European Language. Even a Spaniard who speaks Spanish or has an accent is ridiculed even though English itself has Latin based words. Solo from Latin solus

He is correct it was the first European Language spoken in Arizona but of course we all know that many Native Languages were spoken before that. His point was that Spanish was spoken first & trying to let the ignorant racist know that Spanish has been around even b4 English so they should not be ignorant and make fun of other Languages that have been spoken in communities longer. Basically many Anglos moved into Spanish/Mexican/Native communities where Spanish was being spoken.

When speaking in Chicago to Hispanic leaders, Senator McCain did NOT say that Spanish was the FIRST language spoken in his home state.
I attended the event and heard (as well as recorded) him say these words: "In my state Spanish was spoken BEFORE English...". That statement is true and Lou Dobbs should apologize for admonishing the Senator based on Pulido's false assertions.
Pulido has an obvious agenda and has no credibility when it comes to quoting what the Senator said.
