I'm all for the Trans Am, I own one, but the Ford GT is probably going to win nearly every time if you have two equally talented drivers in each car. The GT is a great American Icon, just like the Trans Am, but the fact is the GT is an exotic. I like both of these cars. I can't pick the one I like better. lol

yup the zr1 is faster but didnt it just come out like two years ago? or one? The last model of the GT was like 5 years ago. Its kinda like comparing a brand new camaro against a 2002 mustang gt. it doesent make sense. IMO

@jongil1 lol i did the same thing, i was like "bull-fuvkin-shit a KB swapped Ford GT SUPERCAR is not racing a WS6..." then i saw the speedometer and the flip switch and quickly STFU... lmao

@higbull Sorry but horse power is relatively constant in a drive train. youll from like a 13% loss in a close drive train from a 15% loss in a long drive train

guys thats not a mustand its a ford gt 40. big fuckin difference. ill beat most mustangs in my H/C supercharged T/A. but no ford gt's with kenney bell Superchargers.

the zr1 is faster than the ford gt yes...but the gt is a much better vehicle for dumping over a 1000 hp into and the reason being is the weight distribution...the rear engine rwd requires a shorter drive shaft therefore less distance the power has to travel and more weight on the rear for better off line traction as well as freed up weight for the rack and pinion and front end suspension...the corvette is cheaper yes but doesn't even compare in unique looks that the gt possesses...
