1 Day 2 Be Awesome 072

On June 26, my friend Andy got me access to the roof of the Rip Van Winkle building, which gave me an amazing view of the Poughkeepsie skyline.

One thing that impressed me was the number of trees; Poughkeepsie seems to poke up out of a forest. It was also amazing to get some straight-on shots of the Mid-Hudson Bridge, with cars passing across, a barge passing underneath, and a freight train passing on the far side.

The final image is the steeple of The River Church building, where I work.

WOW! GREAT VIEWS. but that little picture-in-picture moving slowly across the screen was a great distraction. I lived in the building in the 80's on the 11th floor. brought back great childhood memories watching the video. haven't been back to Pough-town in over 20 odd years. watching this video makes me want to take a vaca back to the east coast. is this the only video you have of poughkeepsie?
