Did not Russia attempt a takeover of Georgia? What about Kosovo? What about Iraq and Kuwait? There are still countries out there attempting to take control of others for their own benefit.

Whoever made the comment about Randy being gay is an ignorant idiot. First off, he is definitely not gay. He's actually quite a charming man, in person; clearly whoever made that comment has never interacted personally with him. Secondly, even if he was gay, which he is not, why would it matter? He's an extremely intelligent and insightful IR theorist, and I fail to see the relevance of his sexual orientation.
