  • I would like to know what speed of winds these things can handle. Anyone have any input? My current tent flattens down in heavy wind, and I need something I can sleep in at night even during high winds.

  • @Seoinage650 Springbar Tents are made to take on extreme wind conditions. We have a big following with people going to Burning Man because out tents can be the only tent standing in 75 mph! We have also set up our Springbar Tents up on Mount Everest were the typical wind speed is 30 to 40 mph. There are many variables including the soil you stake it in, but Springbars do an amazing job of staying up in high winds. Ask this question on Facebook for more opinions.

  • We just spent two nights in two seperate infamous Kansas Thunderstorms. I am thinking they were 30 to 45 mph winds. 4 hours of pure h e double L. I place a tarp over our Springbar Eurotraveler for added protection from rain and we were dry both nights.
