This band inspired the Velvet Revolution in what was then Czechoslovakia. See Vaclav Havel's notes on his visit to America, and his part in the samizdat movement. Now there's some influence. Look him (them) up on Wiki.

ajfdrums, they influenced pretty much every punk/alternative/new-wave/Brit -pop group that ever existed. No one was doing what they were doing in the late 60s.
