@olliethekitty : ummm? I may agree with what you think, but over-weight people have a right to enjoy horses, but when they depend on someone and are not given good advice or helped in the right way, then I am not sure just saying simply "fat people".She may be large & I say it is much harder to learn if you are bigger - than if you know and then get bigger. This is not a "fat" issue as much as a long list of bad decisions, advice & poor choices. This should be about learning not personalizing.

I love horses but know very little about them.. can anyone clue me in as to why on earth would the guy purposely scare this little horse? Like what would that accomplish?
-
After the guy left the woman on that horse alone he went and came back with that bag and it was only then if you watch carefully the horse turns looks at this white noisy bag then gets scared that's when he takes off after feeling no direction like u said he then stops sees this guy and the bag tucked under his arm and thinks flee, don't blame the horse at all everyone and everything there made me scared watching it.

Even if the horse isn't wasn't green what is thst rider going to learn by them tight circles straight away? Until you find yotu balance point you can't ride tight cicrles and that man is making that poor horse circle so tightly. Its set up for failure. I'll admit i couldn't watch it all i didn't want to see any more of the tight cicrles the lack of balance on both horse and rider and the lack of care for that horse. He only looks about 2/3 bless him.

^^^^Notice: I have removed some comments since they mentioned the name of people in the video. If you notice a comment removed that is why. No point in name dropping. Glad to see many want to look out and protect the horse, that is what horsemanship should be, Making it better for the horse.

This video shocked me....I felt very bad for that horse. Rick, why did they have the rope tied to his back leg at the beginning? Or maybe a better question is why would anybody tie a rope to a horses back leg like this? I do not understand, and haven't seen this done, especially not in such a situation.

@Equestrian08 : tying to back leg a form of sacking out, I talk about in my Hobble video. I don't do it or tell people to do with a green rider or any rider for that matter.

Rick - what are your views on those who can ride bridleless? I have always admired those who can get a horse to go any direction they want without reins. I'm a big fan of less is more. Obviously those riders use their bodies to move the horse, so would you not advise people to do this then without the safety of a neck strap/reins?

@SexyHaras : anyone can ride bridleless or bitless, it takes time, confidence and understanding. I will try and do a video about it, one of many on my list. :)
