@utahmike41 I believe the stream is off of the bucket mount on the ladder truck.

I am not a firefighter but that was a hell of a stream of water coming off of the engine. Is that some sort of deck cannon? I can't imagine a firehose putting out that huge volume of water unless there was a very strong individual at the nozzle.

#1 first and foremost, Great job to GFD and everyone else who helped. No disrespect to anyone, just a theory, as was mentioned there were a great deal of fire fighters laid off. Couple this info and the fact that all buildings were fully involved upon arrival, was it ever given any thought that it could have been a disgruntled FF?

Hard to understand why those choose to breathe that shit.

@gregboyds yeah you're right. We don't respond to wrecks and cut people out of cars, we don't run into burning buildings when there is a report of people trapped inside, we don't come to your house when there is a possible gas leak or carbon monoxide detector activation, or countless other call we respond to. You're right we don't do enough. Remind me when its your house burning or when you're injured that we don't do enough. Your ignorance and lack of grasp on reality are unbelievable.

it seems that gary indiana and detroit are "wonderful" places since every 2nd fire video seems to come from those places.
nothing to do? Burn down a house I guess.
-
I especially like the shot that tilts up from the firefighter to the blaze.
-
looks like 34 pissed off firemen finally stood up and proved a point. they are needed, govt. should definitely have this a fed. job or give money to pay for depts and equipment and salaries
-
Oh, by the way, this is a great idea. I'm not sure of your affiliation with the FD but having someone the to take videos of the fires and how the crews handle them would be an excellent training tool. Like they do in football, go out, record events and review to see where improvements can be made.

Who owned the houses involved? Were they members of city council or something like that?
great footage ed...

@1captfd TY Sir, I was just there to capture you guys tanning those fires hides! If it wasn't for the crews working their asses off I would have nothing to record!

@mabas21 Was it arson? I should ask, were they related? Both the fires? In the state i live in, the same situation un folded but because someone went around lighting buildings on fire.

@nickcasto2 There is no doubt in my mind that this was arson, Gary has their share of fires, but the way each house was fully involved leading from north to south was no coincidence! This was planned and thought out, three times now. I did not attend the first 2 rounds of this insanity a few weeks back though.
