Frank Zappa Synclaiver-Valdez Score (First seven minutes)

A montage of very old paintings done by an teenage Frank Zappa...along with some extra stuff too... synched to the first seven minutes to a very obscure FZ synclavier composition.

This synclavier piece, was also the 45 minute soundtrack to an TBS ecology-documentary called 'Alaska: Outrage at Valdez', directed by Jean-Michel Cousteau.

The documentary dealt with the controversy of the Exxon Oil spill in that area, one of the biggest preventable "natural" disasters in the last century.

Note: This is the first phase to a series of videos on this channel, dedicated to promoting the genius of Frank Zappa, through his later synclavier works. Enjoy.

@roncstelep I laugh at your ignorance. I can enjoy it for one. Music doesn't have to sound "pleasant" or "nice" to be appealing - often it can be more about conveying an idea or an experience to the listener instead.

And even if you don't like it you should still show a respect anyway!

@roncstelep I personally enjoy it - but that's just my opinion. I'm not saying you have to enjoy it to appreciate it - music spells out different emotions to different listeners, no?

To some it may just seem like unorganised "souless" sound, and if that's the case - then listen to it that way! I'm not complaining! It will still bring with it an experience of sorts which will be interesting in some way. Interpret the piece how you want to, but show a respect for it, at least!

@roncstelep The problem is only that you're talking about one of the masterpieces of XXth century. For me this track it's soulful, warm and sad... Zappa was an absolute genius... cheers mate, but maybe you're not...
