  • A few questions, i'm making vids of my own but need help for better quality:

-How do you film so low to the ground? i can';t get lower then the top of their hats if you know what i mean.

-What settings do you use for optimal game quality? in-game i mean.

Might have some more questions but please answer these!

  • @xMBReaper For the camera, just Google, "Empire Total War unrestricted camera" and click the first link.

For the settings, it's as high as you can make it without FRAPS destroying your FPS...

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles Few more questions like i said :D.

I found the link you meant, but they only tell how to open it for windows xp and vista, i have win7. Do you know how to open the dev camera for that?

And how do you get rid of the HUD? if in the editing program black bars, how do you do that and what editing software do you use?

Thanks alot! Hope i'll do a good job at it... put you in credits when finished?

  • @xMBReaper It should be the same for Windows 7, you need to type %appdata% into your windows start menu search and the folder will come up, then navigate to the same as in the thread.

I edited out the HUD, I viewed the reply so I had as little HUD as possible then cropped it in Sony Vegas.

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles last question, then i'm ready to go... any tips for frame-per-second in fraps? i'm not really in to that. Could you tell me your settings?

  • @xMBReaper The FPS option in FRAPS is a limit. If you set it to 60, and normally get 200 fps in game, then it will be reduced to 60 fps when recording. I just keep it at 60.
