listen the U.S supports Israel for its best interest. Israel is the only pro-American presence in the primarily anti-America Middle east. Anti-American sentiment is not because we support Israel, but because we support middle east dictators. Israel at a great sacrifice to itself, protects all of US from middle east anger and resentment.

The only pro-American presence? Right...
I'm sure you meant to say along with Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the newly established governments in Afghanistan and Iraq... right?
I don't see how Israel is protecting America from anything. It's more the complete opposite, seeing how much money America funnels into Israel annually. The only thing Israel does in the Middle East is keep terrorists pissed off at the West and give the rest of the Muslim world a reason to do the same.

Aaah, so israel should be destroyed because irrational islamist terrorists don't like it?! 'The only thing israel does' is to provide the jewish people with a state, with a home to call their own. The jews were both stateless & homeless, the palestinians just stateless. This is the biggest problem with people like you: You cant comprehend that jews need for their state. FYI, the palestinians are also in desperate need for a stable state and that is why i support Obama and the 2 state soln.

$30 billion for Israel? I don't see why that's necessary. Israel already has a very strong military. If they'd get attacked, they'd probably steamroll over the enemy. No need for more warmongering in that region.

Obama won't change anything.

That's the one thing Americans just don't seem to get. The people in Saudi Arabia are human too. Just like Americans, just like the Israelis. Our unconditional military support for Israel is extremely dangerous. We should never NEVER unconditionally support any country. It's foolish.

perhaps you're right.. perhaps if some rogue nation were to invade and attack Ireland, England, maybe even Canada, we should just close our borders and turn a blind eye to them.. Let em' worry about it..
