The guitar was the 7th Flying V issued, and Lonnie calls it Old No. 7. The Bigsby bar was used in the top 40 instrumental Wham, and was thereafter called the Whammy bar.
Lonnie also perfected banjo style picking on the guitar and was one of the first rockers to use it on the song Chicken Pickin'.

There's really not much more that can be said of his guitar playing..it speaks for itself but man Lonnie Mack has the greatest voice as well.
