Amazing Grace - Western Version - If only Roy Rogers could hear this.

I watched the interesting and enjoyable movie "Amazing Grace" about William Wilberforce, the 18th-century reformer and author of this song. Afterwards, I couldn't get the beautiful melody out of my mind and had to get it down on the keyboard. I can't resist playing the wide variety of voices available on this amazing Yamaha instrument. I'm picking this all out by ear so please don't hold me to the literal notes that should have been there. I'm just kind of going with the flow, riding with the tide, and moving with the motion of the ocean.

@BIGDADDY36253 Thanks for your honest opinion. I must say I did have fun with it. It was a new keyboard at the time and I was compelled to try out all the new features. It was hard to resist. I may have gone a little over the top with the beat.

Very nice....Well done....You got some beautiful sounds from the keyboard; however, i was waiting for a key change, and it never came....(it was too much of the same key of G)...

Next time...change the sounds like you did, but also try to modulate to a higher key...it would make the piece more interesting to listen to...:-)

G.....to G7....takes you right into C Major......Or you might try to play a verse in a minor key also.

@halunlimited O I fully understand i bought a Roland HP-1 used for cheap so I don't have many options...LOL But it sounds so good and the keys feel great going to work on uploading something in the next month or so when I have time.. The Beat was really cool i just like the more classic song. But your version is awesome too!!
