During January and February 1989, Carol and Jack Lewis travelled to East Africa and went on a safari across the Serengeti Plain in Tanzania. We witnessed the wanderings of the amazing herds of wildebeest, camped in the Ngorongoro Crater - a garden of Eden, dug in the Olduvai Gorge - where the oldest remains of man were found, and visited the mountain gorillas in the Virungas of Rwanda. The wild life viewings were just incredible and this brief slide show set to music and sounds of Africa hardly does justice to this once-in-lifetime trip.
