Exploring Laos with Us 2009: Daam Nah (Rice Planting)

OMG....we are learning how to plant rice. Even though it was cloudy...it was sure HOT! The smells are exactly how it looks....combination of water, dirt, water buffalo dung and little fish, crabs and snails hanging out beneath my feets....that was tough...

I think about 3 months? I forget....we planted in early august...he told us to come back to harvest in January....=)
