This all started because Johnson whipped DePietro's butt. It was goalie on goalie, not goon searching out goalie. I am NOT a Penguins fan, but a hockey fan. The Islanders are a disgrace to the NHL, no doubt about it!

@DiscoRByrno So if the Isles we're made up of a bunch of Gillies', you'd be a better team?? You don't win because you're rebuilding. You have a lot of younger players and probably not the best coach around either. As far as the rules of hockey thing goes, my point was that at times, Gillies seems to go blank and do what he feels like doing, instead of taking the player's number and waiting for a good time to retaliate. If you watch clips of him, he did it a lot in the AHL.

@DiscoRByrno He was drafted and played for the Pens, that's it. All the high ups in the NHL want to coach, manage, or work someway for TORONTO. Toronto is the Mecca of Hockey. Ok, Clutterbuck was going to get a penalty, ref's arm was raised before Gillies hit him, so why did Gillies feel it necessary to hit him then? Because Gillies at times doesn't seem to care about the rules of Hockey. He seems bent on something more personal.

@DiscoRByrno So how do you know for certain that Campbell hates the Isles and is a fan of the Pens? Colin strikes me as more of a Flyers fan myself. Personally, I think Campbell is an complete asshole. Unless you live where the rules of time and space dont apply, the length of the suspension has not been handed out for Cooke yet. I, myself think Cooke should get the rest of the season and then some. Who was Gillies retaliating against, Tangradi?Who did Tangradi hit in that game?
