From 1974 album "She Was Too Good To Me"
What'll I do
When you are far away
And I am blue
What'll I do?
What'll I do?
When I am wond'ring who
Is kissing you
What'll I do?
What'll I do with just a photograph
To tell my troubles to?
When I'm alone
With only dreams of you
That won't come true
What'll I do?
What'll I do with just a photograph
To tell my troubles to?
When I'm alone
With only dreams of you
That won't come true
What'll I do?

There have been comparisons made between Chet Baker and Chris Botti, and I have to say, Chet rules. Chris is an accomplished player, and I enjoy his music, but his improvisational skills remind me of the second-chair trumpet in our high school jazz band. Chet, on the other hand, is pure improvisation: he takes the lead and never gives it up, and never, ever, resorts to warm-up licks to fill an empty space. This recording is pure platinum, through and through.
