For over a year, conservative media outlets have told consumers that in January 2012, they would no longer be able to purchase incandescent light bulbs due to federal efficiency standards. A trip to CVS shows that in fact, incandescent light bulbs are available, only now they're more efficient.

  • @FilmandTVMaker Aww now u wanna follow me around to whine more about me using NORMAL bulbs. It's official... I own u

  • @noreaga12326 Bwahahahahahahahahahhaahhahahhaaha light bulb troll at it again. Silly little neo-con im against anything that means i have to do something little bitch

  • For those who agree with the ban are the ones who don't appreciate freedom. Theyd rather promote toxic bulbs thinking that they will save the polar bears. For u lib-tards who wana be told what to do by government, my advice to u is move to Cuba where u have no freedom at all.

  • @Kyllo11 3-way bulbs are one of the several exceptions of the bulb ban. So they will still be available. Other bulbs that won't banned are appliance bulbs, rough service lights, flood light versions, decorative bulbs (such as canldelabra) anything under 40 watts and as I mentioned, 3-way bulbs will not be banned.

  • looks like i wont be able to by my 3-way bulbs because they use too much energy....

  • conservatives have their heads shoved so far up their asses that they can see food being digested

  • I'm not so sure about those numbers on the cost per year. If I remember correctly, one CFL that we have uses ~15W which is 0.015kWh.

    0.015 * 24hrs/day * 365 days/year * ($ per kWh which I'll use $0.07 for this example) = $9.20/year assuming it's on 24/hrs a day all year.

    What am I missing?

  • @ImClayMoore

You'd be surprised. Fox News has been crying about it for months.

  • Who gives a fuck?

  • @Viracocha711 See ya around...
