Spanish experts say eating fried food may not be bad for the heart in contrast to what was thought until now.
They found no heightened risk of heart disease or premature death linked to food that had been cooked in this way.
The study conducted by Autonomous University of Madrid, surveyed some 40-thousand people over an 11 year period. It concluded that no association was observed between fried food consumption and the risk of coronary heart disease or death.
