  • if im right some of the early released US 80gb ps3's had support for ps2 games and the other 2 were the 60gb and the 20gb consoles, anything made after 2008 does not support ps2 disks especially the slim consoles however just recently i noticed a bunch of ps2 games on PSN some great and some complete shite but all a digital download (does not require disk).

  • Only 3 models of the ps3 are able to emulate ps2 games, and there are NO third-party emus out there for anyone who wasn't lucky enough to own one of the three. Sorry, kiddies :(

  • wie kommst du in den us store??

  • @GYounut why not?

  • @GYounut

Watch out guys, we got a badass over here.

  • i have a 320 gb do is suported

  • @VideoBrew Actually, the later 80gb model with the 4USB ports does play PS2 games as well, but it's partially software-emulated, versus the hardware emulation of the original 60gb.

  • @GYounut Sry, no likes 4 liers!!!

  • I've seen a lot of questions here asking if this will run on their PS3.

This will only work if your PS3 supports PS2 emulation.. In other words, if you haven't got a release 60GB PS3, you won't be able to use this application, nor PS2 emulation.

    Hope this clears things up!

  • @MrWindoof It's because the 80GB doesn't support PlayStation 2 emulation, only the 60GB models do.
