  • i don't know too much about different federations. can u explain 2 me a little about ur federation?

  • thnx I love pattern ! and I like the perfection ! I would ask you : are you in itf of wim boss or others?

  • well, i belonged to the original itf before it was divided into many federations after the death of the Grand Master. now i don't belong to any of the federation i just love patterns and practice for myself. and i am kind of old ;)i used to be very good before they introduced the wave motion. ;) what about u, in which federation r u?

  • it is not bad ... but in my opinion you are rigid when you pass from moviment to an other you should spring and you should do stronger! instead the kicks are good...but when you prepare the first kick you must be faster!

  • your observations are correct. my movements are not relaxed this is because i have not been practicing for about 5 years. i'll work on it. about power i also agree, punches should be stronger but i am trying to add power not by moving shoulders but by the speed of the punch instead. unlike many tkd ppl now, they use shoulder movements too much in my opinion. in any case i really appreciate your comments and would be glad to know what you think next time.

  • this is junk pattern ... you need practice more

  • thnx, at least i got one comment. it's not bad it's an old school pattern. what you are doing is a new stuff with the wave motion introduced about 5,6 years ago. anyways please let me know what you think is bad in my pattern?

  • Looking pretty good there. That left turning kick shouldn't be head height though! And I'm afraid I'll never understand this modern ITF obsession re leaving your leg out like you want someone to hang their washing on it ;-).

Re shoulder movement: I'd say the shoulder shouldn't be lifted like a boxer, but both some movement of the shoulder and having it rigid at impact are necessary for conveying power from hip rotation out the arm. What are your concerns/thoughts/observations?

    Cheers.

  • i belong to wim bos's federation
