The Greenlining Institute is a multi-ethnic research and advocacy organization whose ultimate goal is to promote equitable policies that improve the quality of life for all Californians. Our objective is to increase low-income and minority participation in policy making and to train minority leaders for future advocacy.
The Greenlining Academy was established for this purpose and has embraced both the challenge and opportunity to build a diverse cohort of educated, community minded leaders who have the skills, tools, and knowledge to advocate for their communities and a broad social justice agenda.
The Movement 2.0 refers to a new movement for social justice that cuts across racial and ethnic lines, identifies links among multiple issues directly impacting people and forges alliances that call for nothing less than a paradigm shift across Californias movements for justice.
