Don't forget that in addition to being excellent singers and dancers, these kids were excellent actors. They were taught to use many different facial expressions as part of their acting. Wikipedia says that the main reason Jerry Sharell quit after only 1 season was because he wanted to protest to the Kids Incorporated producers the excessive acting responsibilities which made it more difficult to perform the singing as professionally as they might have been able to do.

I wasn't reffering to the main cast but the background "additional dancers" that usually play instruments but didn't usually sing. Mario Lopez was shown playing the drums. Gina(I can't spell her last name) was shown playing the keyboard, while Wendy who had a guest role in "she's so shy" danced. Gina moved out from the Keyboard to dancer.

According to Wikipedia, the kids on Kids Incorporated were excellent singers and moderately good dancers but could not play any musical instruments as well as professional adult musicians. Thus, these kids were almost always faking it when they pretended to play a musical instrument. Sometimes, kids who were excellent dancers were invited to dance in the background because they could dance better than the stars of Kids Incorporated. The singing was always real, however.

When I saw this for the first time the one thing that stood out was Wendy and Gina was out of position. Gina was dancing and Wendy was at the keyboard. If they were faking it, then this would make sense. The things I didn't know and still can't catch

@nwacompton181 Your weird and irrelevant. I love RENEE SANDS!!
this song is tight. a prime example why kids incorporated should've released a PROPER soundtrack. Instead of that crap we got called Best Hits or whatever.

Well they did have 4 vinyl/cassette LP's...It was KIDS Incorporated (1983) which was the KI The Beginning soundtrack that was released in 1983 a year before KIDS Inc was picked up as a pilot and Rahsaan is not on it...Then KIDS Incorporated (1984) which was hits from Season 1, then The CHART Hits from Season 2, and New Attitude from Season 2, as well. Then they had the 3 VHS tapes: KI The Beginning, The Best of KIDS Incorporated, and Chartbusters.

I do not understand YouTUBE sometimes. Fast videos seem to pixilate alot. You can actually download this video off of the main KIDS Incorporated site in stereo audio and in higher video quality, if interested.
