what a great anime...most ignorant people outside of anime think cartoons are something for kids..but they have no idea the amount of work and talent that go into making such magnificent art....from avatar to ninja scroll and everything in between...these people are the modern day artists.

This is almost like listening to Enya. So wonderful. The entire song is AERIA GLORIS! Look up the lyrics, the translation helps, and almost nobody speaks all three languages in this song. And the major's outfits aren't needlessly erotic! They distract males in social situations giving her an advantage. While your mind's on her boobs and butt, she's hacking your brain! Works in combat to. A moment's hesitation on the trigger while marveling at her will cost you your life, or at least prison time.

@tommaspawn Fun thing is that I used to be one of those ignorant bastards. That was until one and a half year ago when I just tried out some random anime just to be fair. I have developed so much as a human since then thanks to fact that anime flipped the tables completely around for me. Now I am one of those "losers" still watching "cartoons", hahaha.

@BURNINATOR8 suppose so...but I don't put it in the same categories as most of western animation...anime represents a certain style of animation and you can see westerns using anime styles now days...but avatar is Korean made anyway...just like sponge bob square pants and Ben 10..

@shrk128 what sort of category are we talking about here....maybe it's a little more realistic then you think..the human movment's, emotional faces and imaging positions used are really well placed giving you a certain perspective on how they see their creation, but perhaps it's not mainstream...so how could it be classified art...eyes of the beholder I suppose.

@tommaspawn it is not realistic to compare these people to artists as we know it, besides the core fundementals: passion, imagination, the world, and reality as you grasp it.i myself draw quite a bit,and although i usually stay focused in the everyday objects, i can honestly say that the effort i put in to a mediocre image are huge, because i worry about every line, and once i finish, i feel great.

the thing you call anime, is the world we live in, but different. rather deformed, but different.
