  • This is a great song. I have the other best of album of the Lightning Seeds which doesn't have this one which is dissapointing (although it does have A Song for No-One).

  • It is quite possibly my favourite lightning seeds song- the vocal ranges of Ian Broudie are awesome on this song.

Also its co written by Nicky Wire from my other favourite band the Manic Street Preachers. What more could I ask for?

  • liked the original version better, magnificent piece

  • I prefer this version, its a bit more complete.

Dizzy Heights is a great album.

  • I remember hearing this song on an Episode of ER and it fitted in so perfectly with the storyline and I feel in love with this song because it gave the song meaning a purpose. It brought it to life like a story unfolding in front of you.

  • Love this one too - can't believe this is the only one on youtube. 'Like You Do' best of album has this on - track 6.

  • Ian Broudie really does understand about true depression.

  • Beautiful song. Something of a guilty pleasure for me. Just pefect lyrics, and makes me think about the daily grind of life in a brilliantly optimistic way. I feel like I'm 6 years old again!

It's amazing to think they weere as huge they were, then suddenly they disappeared without anyone noticing.
