Watched a good deal of these lessons on the single stroke and yours actually made me get it. For me, it was your explanation of making it feel like a triplet. Well done. Thx man!

Very well done. I play both traditional and matched grips. My first teacher was a graduate of Berklee and taught me finger technique for the left hand. Still can't approach Buddies speed. I'll have to try your modification. Thanks for your posting.

Thanks! Yea, I think it would be impossible to play just using this technique (the closest person to probably use it all the time was buddy or Jojo Mayer) I don't think people should even mess with techniques like this till they have good wrist control. After you have good wrist control, you can fool around with stuff like this.
