Very well done. I play both traditional and matched grips. My first teacher was a graduate of Berklee and taught me finger technique for the left hand. Still can't approach Buddies speed. I'll have to try your modification. Thanks for your posting.

don't let your wrist turn to mush...I prefer 'wrist control' to 'finger control'.

Thanks! Yea, I think it would be impossible to play just using this technique (the closest person to probably use it all the time was buddy or Jojo Mayer) I don't think people should even mess with techniques like this till they have good wrist control. After you have good wrist control, you can fool around with stuff like this.
