@StixMS I completely disagree. I love the multiplayer portion, but I also really enjoyed the campaign. I thought the story was really cool, and I liked the way you could buy upgrades and had different options for what missions to play.

And I thought the challenges were a lot of fun as well.

To be honest, I don't think the campain and the challenges are worth your time... In other words, I find them boring. The game is only worth it because of the multiplayer experience in my opinion.
