Cool calm and collective. He didn't even panic...he made it look soooo easy! I used to catch it everyday when it came on USA when it had it's game show marathon every weekday afternoon. Peter Tomarken is underrated as one of the great game show hosts of all time!

Jim Hackett, who was the show's "computer operator", also was announcer for a handful of episodes! This one, however, has John Harlan doing those chores.

The guys who produced this gameshow - Rob Dames and Bob Fraser - wrote for the hit sitcom "Benson."

Wipeout was aired in Boston/Manchester via WMUR-TV. Sadly, no metro Boston station carried Wipeout.

One of the most underrated theme songs in game show history. I just love the music for this show. It's up there with Now You See It.

Yes, becasue they have to run in the bonus game, I guess they didn't want contestants ruining their rented shoes or falling on their face on high heels.
