Bike is kind of heavy. Should have the truck facing downhill so the slope is not so steep. Running engine to keep bike from coasting down ramp too fast. Your basic fail. And lucky ending.

why the fuck do you need to have the bike running to unload it? if you wanted to slow the bike down use the fucking BRAKES!, that's what they're there for. braking.

BMW service center in Long Beach, California gave me a quote that seemed to be rather high. But that was what they told me. The problem turned out to be the fuel pump.
