  • Harley Davidsons are just like tractors....All torque and no horse power...just like those "tractor" trailers in the background.

  • @ridemfast55 Lol thats all that counts right!

  • @isse525 For me, bikes are about horsepower AND torque. With hp and torque you can take off quick with the torque and fly toward a high top speed with the hp.. Who wants a ton of torque like a John Deer tractor, only to have the torque start you out quick but only able to reach a very low top speed because of the lack of hp. For a person that likes torque only a bicycle is your best bet. with 150 lbs. torque and .5 hp.

  • lol what ever you say man @ridemfast55

  • @ridemfast55 dead right there. at the end of the day hp is somethings ability to do a given amount of work in a specific time. if you take just the motors, the engine with the most torque will have the most hp because it can do more work in a given time. im not ragging on jap bikes, just sick of jap bike fans ragging on harleys. they are 2 different bikes for 2 different applications.

Gearing is fair play. Have you noticed how big the rear belt drive of a Harley Davidson is compared to that of a sport bike? Gearing is part of what gives the Harley Davidson it's torque. Gearing is what gives ANY bike more or less torque at the rear wheel.

  • @ridemfast55 through gearing. a human would be hard pressed to exert a force of 150 ft/lb without a mechanical advantage or the use of gravity. lol and the tractor trailers in the background with "no horsepower" could be potentially anything up to 600+ horsepower. at least you would be looking at 425hp.

  • @baldymp3 Take note that the average man is capable of peddling a bicycle to 150 lbs. torque but only .5 hp. Don't believe me?....google bicycle torque and read and learn for yourself.

  • @ridemfast55 great comment genius, hp is a byproduct of torque.

  • @bloodbath1634

A little weak on sound but a LOT weak on performance....like all Harley Davidsons.
