The whereabouts of Rosette, who was taken away by Aion, remain unknown. Meanwhile, the chaos in San Francisco that came about due to the ritual of atonement has spread throughout the United States. But Chrono was frozen during the battle with Joshua, and his consciousness wanders back to when he was still a Sinner and accompanying Aion.

@narutosonicxfan Its because if he maintained his older form before Rosette he wouldve had to do it a long time without a contractor (since he didn't have his horns and Mary had died a long time back) and he would have died. Btw if anyone likes the Chrono Crusade Anime read the Manga its ending is waaaaaay better.

@greatgirl22302 The thing is, he was in the younger form when he met Rosette before the contract. I guess it would make sense if he was perserving Mary's life force but still weird.

@narutosonicxfan it does make sense. Since it takes power to maintain his older appearence he avoids doing so because he doesn't want to take away from Rosette's life force. If he remained in his older form constantly, Rosette would've died a long time ago.

Only question I have. Why does chrono change his appearance? He goes from his twenties to a kid,it makes no sense.
