The Demolitions (affectionately called the Demo) is the team's explosives expert. He gets big damage bonuses to all things that blow up and has resistance to explosive damage. This is a class that requires some serious money management. Explosives are expensive even with your discounts and you have to be smart about how you use them. For the most part however, many players are good about helping the demo with money and it's greatly appreciated if you spare some extra money for him every round.
When playing this class, you should mainly be focusing on crowd control. That is using the splash damage of your explosives to thin out larger groups of lesser specimens while support specialists and commandos mop up any survivors. Most of the time however, you should leave Scrakes and Husks for sharpshooters to kill unless you absolutely have to help out. The bounty you receive for killing them vs the cost of the ammo used makes it more of a waste. But, as explained in the video, when it comes to killing Fleshpounds, no class really outshines the demo.
A few things I didn't mention in the video:
- For other players: Please, STAY OUT OF THE DEMO'S LINE OF FIRE! I've seen so many demos blow themselves to bits because some careless player walked in front of them at the wrong moment.
- Careful with pipe bombs! You may have explosive damage resistance, but you're not immune to it. And once again, I've seen many demos kill themselves with a poorly placed pipe bomb.
- Watch out for Sirens and Husks. Sirens can destroy your rockets, grenades and pipe bombs with their scream and Husks can set your pipe bombs off if they score a direct on them. Be sure your sharpshooter takes them down fast.
- The M32 has an interruptable reload just like the shotgun. Once you've loaded two rounds in, you can start shooting again.

I find this very useful. However, I would love to find a way to train my demolitions in lower waves where I only have a pistol. I mean, as a Sharpshooter my MM9 is good enough, but for demolitions I want to find a way to make my MM0 useful for that perk, too. Any suggestions? Also, keep the videos coming! subbed!

@jaycarmine Well you start with three grenades and damage from grenades counts toward your demolitions perk. It may not be much but every little bit counts.
