Here's an idea... GO TO SCHOOL, GET AN EDUCATION, GET A GOOD JOB, MAKE MORE MONEY! Gentrification is good.. push poor, uneducated, lazy ass people out and make way for middle to upper class people..!

Thank goodness a candidate has finally brought poverty back to the national conversation for the first time in decades. Not only does he understand the problemss, he has real solutions. Housing vouchers, raising minimum wage, provide health care, help struggling families build assets, tax reform, education reform, and more. We need to put America's Champ in the White House.

gentrification is nothing more than another land grab. heck yeah it can be stopped - but only by organized resistance. urban land reform - taking land off the speculative market and putting it under community control - is the solution. direct action and base building are the tools to get there.

why don't you go back to your KKK meetings bigot. you don't have to be jobless to be displaced by gentrificaiton. who can afford a $300,000 condo? not any teachers, police officers, or city workers that i know. so who's going to do your dishes, teach your kids and take care of your kids you lazy rich white person? oh that's right, you still want to bring the days of slavery back. well news flash. it's not gonna happen cause we're not gonna let it.
Neither one answered the question -so I will. We need to protect minority communities from predatory developers, so that those who want to improve themselves, can,in spite of the majority who just want to consume.

Gentrification isn't actually a process that can be stopped in my opinion. Instead of levying large scale zoning regulations which hurt everyone, programs and support should be put in place to deal with Gentrification and to help protect the people who are disadvantaged by it.
