Our submission to the 48 Hour Film Project International Shootout 2009 competition. Our genre was Buddy Film, our ilne of dialogue was "will you meet me later", our character was Melvin Lyons - Furniture Maker and the prop & theme was: finding a briefcase/suitcase filled with $500,000 in a public place. I want to thank the cast and crew for the amazing work they put forth in getting this piece done within the required time! You guys rock!

  • Sweet!

  • I enjoyed it!

  • Good work EyeQ. Strong performances and slick camerawork / editing. Impressive.

  • Carol, thanks for noticing the editing. Few people see editing when they watch a film, but the editing here was nothing less than brilliant. It's what gave the film it's pop, pace, and continuity.

We could tell you what we wrote and what we have in mind - in it's evolving fashion - with interpretations from the collective. Or, we could simply let you take with it what you will. The latter is funner. Watch it again if you like.

  • richie and luan. this film is amazing. so much talent packed into such a brief package. I look forward to more work by you too. this film hit really close to home for me. I could definately tell rowman2222 what this film is about... my interpretation of course.
