Ten years ago, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On 15, all internet users are not to go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.30 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000 American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about $55 to $80 to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on 15, it would take $4,745,000,000.00 ( almost 5 BILLION DOLLARS) out of the oil companies pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on 15 and let's try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day a month.
Please resend this to all your friends on your list .
The "gas out" has circulated as an e-mail forward for years and never did a thing. Boycotting for one day will never affect anything - to result in anything it would have to be ongoing.

Not buying gas on any one day will not change anything, oil companies know they,ll make twice as much the following day. If you want to change things stop buying Exxon/mobil. They are the largest offender, if we boycott them till they are forced to lower their prices the others will have to follow.
