  • It's good that covers are made of this incredrible piece by "Eric Satie". People may then listen too the original, which is awesome.

I was drawn to listen to classical music by Prog. Rock bands that did cover versions of classics which were considered "distaestfull" at the time.

Lighten up ppl.....it's all good in the end...?

  • Syrupy I'm afraid. The original manuscript shows something very different. This is like a council house with period mouldings and cornices.

The Mona Lisa with false eyelashes . . .

When played by someone with taste the music is spare, sparse and evocative.

    0.5/10

  • Well, this was the most daring interpretation of Satie so far!

But I think it's good even if it's not Satie anymore!

And the girl over the piano seem to be moving any minute...

  • Most things in this world can be improved, changed, and modified. But not Satie. Leave that mother alone.

  • The first minute could almost be Resident Evil "Safe Room" music, while 1:24-1:48 is very Silent Hill. :-)

  • Claude is from Tunisia - not from Normandy -

  • Magnificent, heartfelt, and refined music at the very highest level. Richard

  • thats not lovely its just not right!!!!!
