  • @99minerkc thats not a very good case for killing unborn children. How do you know what children would grow up to choose good or evil? Wonder if you kill a child that would have grown up to discover the cure for cancer or AIDS?

  • So you think murder rules?

  • With all due respect, how can a preist know what an expectant mother (or father for that matter) goes through when they consider this? I am not saying that I agree with abortion, I feel quite the opposite... but I don't think that growing up in an orphanage / poverty is much of a life either. Then again, childhood is only the first few steps in life.

  • Abortion is simply murder quoted by the BLESSED VIRGIN MARY. Life begins at the moment of conception.. period. We have no right to make decisions of whether to take a life.

  • Jesus has mentioned 16 times in the Bible I believe in the existence of Hell so why do people doubt? As Padre Pio said (stigmatist) "You will know it when you get there" Stop challenging the Gospel of Jesus Christ! and accept HIS teaching!

  • Life and this planet is Gods creation and NOT OURS! We have been given the gift of life and are merely stewards of this earth. Each one of us has to pay the price for iniquity. We have our whole life to live out either to obey God or to disobey, the choice is ours, Heaven or Hell is waiting for us, I know where I'm going... do you?

  • @99minerkc Limbo isn't so much an invention, as it is speculation by theologians what is possibile, not certain. I don't know how to describe hell. What I know is that it is a place where one is seperate from God.

If you're interested in Catholic beliefs about hell, try search the "Hell? Yes!" articles at the Catholic Answers website, the "Hell" quick questions at the same site, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church paragraphs 1033-1037 at the Holy See's website.

  • @99minerkc I believe all who are baptized are born again, though many are not believers (I don't know where the 300 million figure comes from). To answer your question, I don't believe that all non-Christians have a one-way ticket to hell, nor that a Christian has a get-into-Heaven-free card. I believe that hell exists, and those who go there have done so by their sins. I believe non-Christians are at a higher risk since they don't follow the Truth, but I do not believe they all go to hell.

  • @99minerkc continued here: Put some thought into this! You really would worship a deity that would destroy the vast marjority of his creation with an ETERNAL(for ever and ever)suffering for a finite petty crime(if you can call it a crime)? For me it's just not being able to believe with the brain he gave me to think with!

  • @99minerkc @99minerkc Ok, you're going to tell me that an "all loving" god is going to see to it that roughly 6.2 Billion people are bound for eternal hell while a mere 300 million people are heaven bound? Even if my numbers are off they're not off by a significant margin! You can really believe this? Just this alone would be enough for me to conclude that it utter BS and I'm not trying to jerk you around!

  • @hstarcz As we near the end of our conversation I would like you to ponder something and answer a question. So, there's roughly 1.052 billion people who claim to be chistian so that leaves 5 billion non christians in the world. Of the 1 billion christians figure 60-70% are not true born again believers, so that leaves roughly 300 million true christian(roughly) continued:

  • @hstarcz , Maybe I didn't make my point clear re limbo. My point was that your leaders had no problem inventing limbo, so what makes you think they wouldn't invent other concepts like hell? After all hell is the perfect too to use for control and profit! Now, you say a collapsing universe won't affect hell since it doesn't exist in the universe, ok, I must ask though, where and what is hell, and how do you know where and what it is? thanks.
