  • Brava Deborah Voigt... mi piace molto. ottima Gioconda

  • There was SO much ping to the voice back when she was heavy. I think there is a difference in the voice now and then.

  • Bravas!!

  • Thats the Debbie I wanna remember

  • @bonanplu "Your national shame?" Really?? If THAT'S our national shame, God help us all....

  • @mozartsinger what an ignorant post. Aprile Millo Gioconda was your national shame. Aprile Millo sang Gioconda only two or three performances and with her voice in shreds, the voice was shot, pitchy, woobly and destroyed.Aprile Millo the worst Gioconda ever and she doesn't exist in the role, she sang it only one time at Carnegie Hall in concert and only 2 perf at the Met (as Urmana second donna)

  • @VerdiMezzo

Well she learned it on virtually no notice, so cut some slack eh?

  • Voigt is is wonderful. However, my favorite Giocondas are Millo (!!!) and Arangi-Lombardi.
