Yesterday Paul Litterland (Sales Director for Hachette Children's Books) came to my uni and gave us a preview of their upcoming children's fiction! I mainly got the first 3 chapters of the books, which are:
He's After Me by ----- (it's anonymous, I know who it is, but it's a secret ;)) due July 2011
Ultraviolet by H J Anderson (oops, forgot to say that in the video!) www.discoverthetruth.co.uk due June 2011
Caddy's World by Hilary McKay due May 2011
Knowing Me, Knowing You by Helen Bailey due November 2011

Then I got the full-length proof copy of Heist Society by Ally Carter due May 2011.

  • sorrryy the word limit messed it up.. after i said they looked really interesting.. i was going to say that im going to show my little sister them cos its for her age range.. and then probably read them myself ;)

Which one do you think looks the best??

Thanks for doing this btw.. i love watching them. :)

  • @laughandlovex5 Thanks! Glad you like them, I'm still getting used to Vlogging, but it's getting easier. Yeah I think your little sister will like them, you might too, the parts I've read from Saffy's Angel were good I'll eventually read the whole series I expect. I think Ultraviolet looks like it's going to be best (the one with the girl in the institution) but I can't wait to read Heist Society too! Thanks so much for commenting :)

  • The first book you were talking about looks really good, the "Once upon a time there was a girl who was special" I really want to see where they take it etc... :)

And the second one about the girl called Alyson... it looks like its gonna be one of those on edge books.. where its a little bit scary but really intriguing !

& i looked up the Caddys world book, i know its for younger readers.. but they actually look really interesting..

That's pretty cool you get all these freebies from classes !
