  • I think the most amazing aspect of this music is how skillfully it evokes the aura of a pond at dusk in late summer. You can close your eyes, listen to the music and not just hear the sounds of the pond, but see them vividly in your minds eye.

Truly a masterpiece and one of my favorite pieces of music -- along with John Dunbar's Theme from Dances With Wolves.

  • Anthony... You see the truth is when I think of spending the rest of my days in a place like this, it is only you who lives in my heart...

  • my dad loved this song and it brings back memories from when he was alive... I can't believe it will be a year on May 13th... I don't know if I will ever stop grieving even though I've been told that at some point you do move on with your life... but I don't think thats true for me.

  • i think some of the comments here are as poetic as the music is. which shows how music can bring out the best in people sometimes

  • WOw i love it! Me recuerda a my artista de novio tocando e piano :)

  • If you dislike this music your heart is just ice cold, all dead inside.

  • @ignorance15bliss The people who dislike this are ones that the music brings out a distant memory of loss or recent tragedy. It is a general response for those that have not been able to accept or deal with lifes' unfortunate and sometimes great sadnesses that happen. It's mostly a subconscious reaction to what they cannot put words to. The music is simply too hard to listen to and see the beauti of it. For me, it reminds me of the loss of my father; the man who taught me to fish, gone 40+yrs

  • @DanceReachesOut

Peace through music. Thank gods for such magic!!!!

  • Though this is pretty music, it seems to me rather sad. I think that On Golden Pond needs to be more full of life. Granted, not a "happier" tune, but more of a well rounded feel; Like a this is this year, but next year is coming. Not just death and goodbye, but a hello and a dance between the two.

  • how can ppl dislike this music? at the very least, its relaxing and peaceful

  • I loved this movie. It still makes me want to cry when I think about how the movie ended....

  • Beautiful...
