I don't know why allmusic considered this album to be one of his worst ?! this is a nice cover for John Denver , and there are great hits like Baby jane and what am i gonna do

the only thing i can say is that after this album came out my son 12 @ the time said to me MOM YOU LIVE THE LIFE OF A ROD STEWART SONG ! you always seem to find one of his songs for what ever your going threw at the time. Thanks

i totally agree with you goodteam2. i have never been a fan of Rod's-but i love Body Wishes. every song on this lp is a winner from the first to the last, it takes me back to the summer of '83 when it was released-what a great year that was. i have the lp/ vinyl and was lucky enough to find an import copy of the cd on Amazon.com. i'll never part with them. thanks for the post.

I was never a big fan of his. Though, I can appreciate his appeal and his true entertainment value. I do own this tape - it truely is a great collection of songs. I used to play it in my walkman, hook it on me, and ride my 10-speed late at night..in the summer. And if i can find the CD version, i'll buy it just in case my tape gets spewed....almost!

it's funny how this was judged as one of his worst albums, i had to order it from japan, because people in the states are idiots, i am a huge fan and this and foolish behavior are his two best albums as far as i am concerned
