W210 E55 V8 dirty exhaust mods, turn the sound up!

I have taken out the main CATs leaving the pre CATs which it passes its MOT on, also the mid box has been removed leaving the back box as a rumble box, it will pop on over-run but the site limit here is 20MPH and its wet so couldnt give it full beans when I pulled off and obviously the traction control had kicked in,

Also when stationary the rev limiter kicks in at about half revs to protect the engine so it is louder when moving!

Pretty wicked sound since it's all AMG! You didn't say you've replaced the muffler and it sounds to me as if it's still the factory muffler. I have an '01 E55 with 108k on the clock. I've owned it since it had 16k miles. I've only removed the resonator, deleted the secondary cats, added an x-pipe and put LED tails on it. It's stock otherwise and I love the sound since opening up the exhaust. I always thought it was too quiet before.
