WOT WE NEED IS MORE LOVE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE FROM DIFFERENT AREAS AND BACKGROUNDS AND BROKEN HOMES.

THEY HAVE EDUCATED KIDS THAT GREED IS GOOD WITH ALL THEIR WARS OF CONQUEST AND EMPIRE AND OIL WAR, SO KIDS ARE COPYING THEM FOR SHITTY CLOTHES AND TVS
I've been harassed by police for years, held up at gunpoint numerous times by them, stop and searched etc. luckily they did not shoot me dead. THIS MAKES U VERY ANGRY AT THE ESTABLISHMENT.
ppl ask why these kids are doin this: cos of social breakdown from years ago, shit schools, shit education, shit parents, shit government decisions since the early 80s.
The violence is appalling but we only risk it's repetition by failing to look at this as major social breakdown not just lawless thuggery
when u create a society without any social conscience , raise generation of hopeless lost resentful people then this is what u get.
AND YOU SHOP OWNERS WHO GOT LOOTED, TRY GIVING JOBS TO A LOCAL KID THEN MAYBE UR COMMUNITY WILL GET MORE CLOSE KNIT.

You make a lot of good points. I don't agree with some of the anti police sentiments, but then I'm from a different background. I wouldn't tar all police with the same brush, just as you don't want them to tar you with the same brush as the looters and dickheads. As with any group of people most are OK, but it's the dickheads you notice. Most police are doing a very hard and important job.

@WinchesterRanger why did the 'bastards' come into UK in the first place? because after WW2 Britain needed a workforce and had to advertise in other countries in its empire, so the 'bastards' came and did all those laboring jobs. You NEEDED the 'bastards' to get the economy back on track.

I disagree with some viewpoints he has, but then again, I'm an American observer. It took me a while to get past the language he uses, but then at the end, he explains WHY he speaks like that: it's the only way the UK youth will give him any "street cred" and listen to him. That's the sad part about all this. Anthony Burgess foresaw all this moral, educational, and cultural decay in the UK in his prophetic book "A Clockwork Orange."
