Perfect restatement of the cartoon. The music is exciting and taut, and the quick cutting keeps up with tempo of the piece.
Using the Mission Impossible theme was a great touch: The original Fantastic Voyage theme is too slack to get this much excitement out of it.

Very nice opening---kept right in pace with the music. I wish there were episodes of this cartoon to download.

(i love the MI theme also, and it does sound great w/ your montage!) if you have the whole Three Ring Circus album uploaded i'd also love to hear "groovin' on the sunshine" ....

Dan, you're a genius!! Fantastic Voyage never looked so good!! I watched this show way back in the '70s but I can barely remember it since I was very young. I just searched for it on Google and I found this and some other clips of FV. It would be great if someone put up a few episodes here on youtube. The other '70s cartoon I remember watching was Battle of the Planets (G-force) . It had a great opening and it was loaded with action. Anyone have a time machine I could borrow?? =)

@DeerRaven Thanks! I wish the show would be released on DVD. The character of Erica Lane from the animated Fantastic Voyage series makes a cameo (abeit in Starfleet uniform) in a couple of scenes in my latest animated STAR TREK episode, "Ptolemy Wept."

dude! use the real theme song, not mission impossible! you can get it from the 1968 record "Groovin' on the Sunshine" by Three Ring Circus.

@eat2evolve Thanks for the note. This compilation was a play on the Mission Impossible series intro which featured short action scenes cut together overlaid by Lalo Schifrin's famous score. There would be no point to use the Fantastic Voyage theme which I do have.
